Appleseed Ex Machina (2007)

Synopsis:  (Production of the "master of action," John Woo + concepts created by the genius Masamune Shirow) + (3D animation of the highest quality + fantastic action scenes - story centered on the protagonist). Result? Appleseed Ex Machina! In the year 2133 AD, the world was led to an era of devastation and chaos. More than half of Earth's population was decimated by a non-nuclear world war. It would be only a matter of time before the planet became totally uninhabitable and all life ceases to exist ... Humans sought their last seeds of hope. And, unable to find any, decided to create one: Olympus. In this newly created utopia, those wounded in war were reconditioned as cyborgs. And international disputes were assuaged by a "new breed" of humans genetically produced, Bioroids. To further ensure this peace, was created to ESWAT, an elite police force with worldwide jurisdiction. Although with all this security, this paradise is still prone to snakes, they want their destruction ... The first sequence of the film is a typical sequence, anything from John Woo: a white dove flying into a church. At church, we are introduced (or reintroduced) to Deunan Knute and Briareos Hecatonchires. No, they're not getting married! In fact, a group of cyborgs is holding hostages in this church, and fell to ESWAT make the operation of "cleaning the perimeter." And that's just the beginning of a conspiracy to drop peace once again. Amid all the problems, Deunan will have to adapt to a new partner, Briareos and have to figure out what is really happening ... The future of humanity, once again, is in the hands of Deunan. And what she will do if by a trick of fate, Briareos is your enemy?
