Synopsis:
As explained in the review of "Genius Party", the 14 animations would go into the original design by Studio 4 º C, seven ended up outside. Two of them have not come to fruition ("Le Manchot Mélomane," the Frenchman Nicolas de Crecy, and an untitled project from Hiro Yamagata), but the other five, who had already been finalized at the time of the release of "Genius Party" in 2007, was eventually released a year later, a second collection called "Genius Party Beyond."
GALA: In a place that resembles the paradise islands of the South Pacific, and inhabited by picturesque living in harmony with each other, something akin to a giant meteor collides with the ground, causing tremendous destruction. Curious, the locals try to open that object at all costs, but Ko-Oni, a kid with a horn on his head and Aporabou, a girl with wings and a harp playing always come into line with the supposed meteor and find that it is a living entity. An old freak shows young people that an ancient prophecy is coming true, and that that body will manifest itself spontaneously if soothed with music.
MOONDRIVE: In a city located on the moon, four young delinquents bored and mad money hear about the existence of a hidden treasure, and engage in numerous grips along his journey to find him.
WANWA THE DOGGY: A boy plays with a mask of ogre, trying to cheer his sick mother in a hospital room. Suddenly he finds himself in a crazy world, with sweet shops and giant popsicles. Accompanied by his dog, the boy explores this bizarre world while being pursued by a giant ogre who wants to eat everything you see on the front, including the boy himself.
TOUJIN KIT: In industrialized city, cold and impersonal, a girl spends her days bored, eating and watching TV in a place abandoned and depressing. Your room has a bookshelf full of stuffed animals and, in one corner, a strange machine that seems to try to resurrect a plush frog, by which the girl seems to nurture a special affection. Told by neighbors of the girl, a government agent and their robot sentries come to see that illegal, since toys are considered harmful objects and aliens. After all, a sad and empty world, where people are just cogs in a machine, anything that stimulates the joy, innocence and love of life must be banned.
DIMENSION BOMB: great animation genius Koji Morimoto, the director of "Magnetic Rose" (Memories) and "Beyond" (Animatrix), so different and traveler who is even difficult to do a little blurb, since there is not much consensus out there about the this is really the story. A very common explanation found on the internet says that a boy breaks a dimensional barrier, and meets a girl on the other hand, through the more hallucinatory situations possible.
